Ready-to-wear, racerback, ripped jeans, raglan, romper, ruffle, raincoat, robe, reversible & so on… You guys must be aware of some terms which I have shared above. Today I will explain more about the terminologies like raglan, romper & ruffle which I feel you should know about. 😉
R stands for Raglan!
A raglan sleeve is a sleeve that extends in one piece fully to the collar, leaving a diagonal seam from underarm to collarbone. Grab this JJ Valaya’s Raglan Sleeve Jacket and pair it with any outfit it will just look great. This will work as a statement piece on any outfit & everyone will be lured by you. 😉
R stands for Romper!
I have seen many of you guys who think romper/playsuit & Jumpsuit are the same. So I am right here to tell you that both are different from each other. This is how…Romper suit is a combination of a ‘shorts’ & a top whereas Jumpsuit is a combination of ‘Pants’ & a top. So now on when you see shorts & top combination please call it romper or playsuit & not Jumpsuit. Above Malini Ramani’s romper is perfect beachwear if you are going for a weekend getaways I would suggest getting this piece in your backpack & enjoy the time at the beach!
R stands for Ruffle!
The ruffle is a decorative frill of lace or gathered ornamentation of fabric, often used to trim. Ritu Kumar’s dress is a perfect example of a ruffle. She has used it as a trim & added it at the hem to make it look more beautiful & carefree. Contrast this dress with a pair of maroon or burgundy pumps. And a maroon quilted bag with gold chain and you’re ready to draw the attention of everyone you meet even before you start talking! 😉
See you soon with the next blog. Toodles!
