6 ways to slay your bralette top!

Heylo people! Monsoon is here and we would love to cuddle up to our favorite blanket and sip hot coffee (hot chocolate would be my choice)! But life’s is tough. As much as we would want to stay back at home and enjoy the rain, we will have to step out and do our daily chores. It’s okay. We can learn to deal with monsoon but definitely not with boring and gloomy clothes. So here’s an amazing idea that will not only make your boring outfit turn lively but also gonna totally raise the temperature. Yes, you bet!

So basically I’m talking about the famous ‘Bralette Tops’ that are taking over the streets like crazy. It’s one of those very sexy  outfits that is gonna absolutely elevate your look. Trust Kendall Jenner if not me! Thanks to her, bralettes are now a big hit. Although I wouldn’t advice to go ahead with a bralette top if you’re not comfortable in it. If it’s your first attempt and you feel it’s worth a shot, thumbs up and advance *whistles* from our side already. For those who don’t quite feel comfortable wearing “too revealing clothes”, you can still go for a bralette top and I’ll tell you how!

Pair it with culottes or skirt:

Pairing your bralette with culottes or skirts (whether mini, midi or even maxi) is a pretty safe choice. They accentuate your look effortlessly and there’s not much drama to take care off. Brush your hair backward and pin it with loose sides. Prefer tiny strappy heels if it’s a skirt and platforms if it’s a pair of culottes and you’re ready. Pick any solid color like black-mustard combination (my personal favourite) and just step out with utter confidence. B-)

Put on a Bomber Jacket:

This one’s a perfect combo if it’s cold outside but you still wanna look friggin hot! Put on a bomber jacket or an oversized/boyfriend jacket over you’re bralette top. Pair it up with either denims or shorts, whichever is more comfortable and needed for the occasion. Ah, well what’s tricky is the kind of shoes that you go for. I would suggest going for a sparkly sneaker with gold shimmer work so it gives you a glamorous as well as a chilled out look.

Under Sheer Overalls:

Sheer things are my personal favourite! I have tons of sheer tops and overalls. Which is why I wouldn’t mind pulling one of my sheer favourites over a bralette top! What do you think? A perfect combination of sexy and chic. Whether printed or plain, if it’s a sheer top combined with bralette, tuck in the same with a pair of distressed jeans and put on the highest stilettoe (preferably strappy ones). But if it’s a mid-length sheer dress/overall, a pair of bralette and high-waisted shorts or ‘skorts’ would totally “oomphasize” your look (If you know what I mean).

How about a saree:

Alright, who else vouches for Katrina’s ever so hot avatar in the song ‘Gale Lag Jaa’ apart from us? She totally nailed the look. And why not! Bralettes have always worked wonders when paired with a saree. They are the best way to flaunt your sexy silhouette with utmost confidence and panache. If you want to step aside of normal fashion and go for something quirky, team up your bralette with a matching jacket along with the saree. So go for an upbeat combination of colours and bring out the diva in you. Check out some amazing ones here!

A dress/top on it:

Well if you’re up for a casual movie date/out for shopping, a bralette peeping out of a comfy V-neck top, a loose shirt half unbuttoned or even a dress is the best combination hands down! These are really comfortable and cool, especially for people who are not quite settled with flauting the bralette totally. Just a statement bag or clutch and a pair of boots, trust me you’re sorted. This look is supposed to be casual and funky, overdoing it would ruin the charm. So I say, keep it simple and always keep rocking 😉

Formal Trousers:

If you are in for a formal look, trousers are best paired with bralettes. Wear your bralette as a crop top and pair it with an awesome blazer to complete the look. For shoes, either stilettoes or a pair of oxford shoes can never go wrong. Accessorize your outfit with a classy briefcase bag (preferably black) and maybe a silver bracelet.

STAY FASHIONABLE. KEEP SLAYING! Until next time. xoxo

Hey there! I run on hot chocolate shakes and binge watch my favorite T.V series like there's no tomorrow. I have a thing for nature (especially clouds). I really wish cameras could capture what eyes do.
