Style and Fashion @ DateTheRamp!

Abhilasha works as a fashion designer and stylist at DateTheRamp. Also known as DJ Lasha (though she never gets to be one at the office) she identifies as a young, tough, independent woman who is passionate about Fashion and Styling. You might catch her watching styling tutorials on Instagram or entertaining us with random bunny faces in the office. Oh, did I mention she owns a lovely pet bunny? She’d love to support PETA wholly but sadly, can’t give up on meat!

Note: Wait till she gets comfortable around you. That’s when she drops her formalities and out comes her craziness! (Along with her multiple personalities.)

Ankit is the Head of Business Development at DTR. He is a determined dreamer, a sports fanatic, and a passionate traveler. He is forever on a search for sleep and/or sanity. And when he’s not sleeping, travelling or freaking out about a match, he binge-watches TV shows. Or he’s hanging out with friends!

Note:  Unlike most others at our office, Ankit has no qualms about working on silently… even when nobody’s around!

Anuradha joined DTR as an Operations Executive. She describes herself as a mother blessed with a son who started her career after her son was born.

With an innate love for fashion, Anuradha feels fortunate to be able to make a living doing what she loves. She believes what she has learned till now is minuscule compared to what lies ahead. She wants to delve deep into the learning more about fashion.

More power to her!

An MBA graduate from ESB Business School, Germany, Anviti is the Lead for Member Relations at DateTheRamp. Known to love all songs with Bollywood tadka to them, Anviti is an extremely cheerful person, who loves to laugh and is a big foodie.

Her focus is razor sharp when it comes to catering to the customers and their needs. Her amiable demeanour makes her a delight to talk to!

After finishing BE in Computer Science from MITE Mangalore, Asha joined DateTheRamp as Operations Executive. Mostly seen hustling around the office getting her job done, Asha has a talent of story writing and would love to publish it some day. She also has a hidden talent that we weren’t aware of, dancing!

Although Asha keeps a lot to herself, she does not believe that she is anti-social, just pro-solitude!

Avadesh is good at analytics, likes to learn and dive deep into the problem to come up with the best solution. Besides that, he is affable, self-motivated and a responsible team player. He likes to travel and explore places and beauty of the world. He is assertive and exact at conversation. Avadesh likes to listen to spiritual and philosophical podcasts, watching the news and technical interviews.  

Note- People are terrified to ride pillion with Avadhesh. Be warned!

Biji is our in-house energy source. With 14+ years of diverse experience in different roles and industries, Biji is currently the Head the Human Resources & Hiring at DateTheRamp. With a penchant for communication, Biji is known for being the life of every event at DTR! She is easily one of the most hard working people and is seen to come in early every day and leave only after most have left.

You probably might not guess this from her appearance but Biji is also a mother of two lovely children. She loves regaling us with stories about them to us and we ain’t complaining!

Chandan works as a software engineer for DTR.

He has a cool and spontaneous personality. He catches everything fast and throws them back at the same pace, even sarcasm! He can be seen pulling pranks on Avadhesh most of the time. While his hobbies include online gaming and reading tech articles, Chandan lives by the rule of eat-code-sleep.

Note- Chandan likes to listen to metal and explore the world of Cybersecurity!

Chinmoy is our founder and self-appointed CEO. Hailing from a technology background, he is enjoying learning the ropes of fashion. He is either in a marathon or a sprint. When in a marathon, he insists on running slow and conserving energy to win. When sprint, he insists on running fast and spending energy to win. He enjoys photography and writing and has an interest, and knowledge, about everything that happens at DateTheRamp. You will find his writing and photography throughout DateTheRamp’s social presence!

Note: He tends to surprise us with super-favorable postings! So we keep calling him Santa Claus behind his back. 

Debashish works as a Full-Stack developer at DateTheRamp. He is the all-rounder of our team. A storehouse of knowledge, he will always have something to add no matter how random the topic! With Shabbir pinned to his side and Quora to his browser, he has travelled the Earth (and beyond) by books. (Even if he rarely agrees to go out in person) Known for his down-to-earth personality and a typical appearance, you can easily identify him from afar!

Note: In cricket, he always promises himself and us that he will remain patient and bat through the whole over – only to try to flat-bat the very first ball out of the building!

DWorking as the Experience Centre Manager in Bangalore, Deepti also doubles as Visual and Retail Merchandiser for DTR.

Deepti works her charm at the Experience Centre and the results are visibly beautiful. Anyone who steps in is always taken aback. Deepti is a nature lover and likes to take bicycle rides when she can. She also enjoys tasting different types of tea. A chai lover in whole.

Deepti also believes in being the best version of herself, and evolving everyday to be better!

Ishan is a sophisticated and organised person and mostly stays in his own world, always finding time to go out and explore new places. He works as a software engineer for DateTheRamp.

Ishan is known to grab opportunities that comes his way.  Loves pizza more than anything in his life and he would kill for a slice!

Note- He is known to crack jokes in the wrong moment.

Lopa used to work in the HR department but her intense interest in fashion led to her becoming the Head Buyer! Her witty-self has found a place in a lot of articles on DTR’s blog. The latest book, movie, music, series, jewelry, fashion design? She’s seen it all. A hater of boring food- her bag is always filled with chips, biscuits and other interesting goodies, all the time!

Note: She will definitely judge you if you say anything against Game of Thrones. 

Manoj is Manager for Storage and Maintenance here at DateTheRamp. Nicknamed Arjun, Manoj was brought up in Bukkapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He played Kabaddi and Badminton for Zone Level in Andhra Pradesh. Isn’t that awesome?

Manoj also is interested in collecting old coins, listening to music and watching funny videos.

Pragati is the Lead Fashion Stylist in Customer Experience at DateTheRamp.

One of the most defining things about Pragati is her keen enthusiasm for fashion and love for makeup. All of it channeled into her work when she is interacting with customers.

Also a noteworthy fact about Pragati are her TikTok videos. We all figured about what a huge Bollywood buff she is only after watching them!

Pragati joined DTR as an intern after completing her B Tech undergrad in Computer Science and Engineering, and now is an Executive in Merchandising and Marketing.

Strike up a conversation with Pragati you’ll find out  that it’s food that she’s always thinking about! Food makes her happy, so it’s always a battle between maintaining her weight and keeping her taste buds happy.

She adores serene places and likes to while away my time listening to music in silence. Pragati is the  human embodiment of the phrase ‘find your happiness within yourself’!

Prateek works as a backend developer for DateTheRamp. He loves to write code both as a hobby and at work. He has been writing hobby code for over a decade and professionally for 3 years. Apart from his expertise in database and Python, he also excels at table tennis! He is a keen observer and always has plenty of philosophical things to say. (Why we generally address him as ‘BABA’)

Note: When he’s not coding on his computer, he’s decoding books!

Rajeev works as a web-cum-android developer in DatetheRamp. He is the most serious person in our team, thankfully only during work. He doubles as a bug-detective and you do not want to be in a 4-mile radius of him at the time! He becomes a ‘Pocket-Sized Bomb’ who can explode anytime. He has a rare talent. He always manages to find the corner seat in office somehow and flashes an all-knowing smile. He has all guessing why!

Note: His prowess at Mythology forces us to call him “RajPurohit”.

Rajeev joined DTR as the Head of the Operations department.

Rajeev is energetic and highly motivated, and this can be observed in the way he goes about his work. Rajeev says that he can adapt to survive in any environment and loves to do things that challenge him. Rajeev enjoys writing, drawing and sketching during his leisure time.

His cheerful and joyous nature always keeps us motivated at work. Way to go, Rajeev!

Saru is the Assistant Manager in Delhi Experience Centre. Lovingly called ‘Chunmun’, Saru describes herself as a bold, hardworking and talented girl.
Raised in Delhi NCR, she completed her schooling from Cambridge School Indirapuram and graduated from FDDI.
Saru loves to read novels, have deep conversations with herself while having coffee. Did I mention she is really good at making handmade products? Also, music is something she cannot live without.

Saru says-
“Life is Simple. Don’t complicate it by your weird thoughts. Do what makes you happy and proud.“

Shabbir is an iOS cum front-end developer at DateTheRamp. His work speaks loudly via many of the things that you see and experience on our website but he himself speaks in such a low tone that you might need to install an amplifier to hear him properly! Perhaps his low tone comes from his choice of music- a playlist full of bed-time old melodies. If he’s not diligently working at his seat, he’s chilling at the cafeteria with Debashish and Rajeev.

Note: Sometimes he gets quite mischievous and can be seen pulling pranks on Debasish.

SHaving a B Design degree from NIFT Hyderabad, Shilpa works as a Fashion Designer at DateTheRamp. As someone who is a perfectionist, Shilpa is known to be very precise in whatever work she undertakes. She loves delving into the world of fabrics and trims and is an expert at every possible stain cleaning method! Perceived as a generally quiet person, give it a few days to bring out the crazy in her. One of her hobbies include dream interpretation. Crazy enough yet?

Although Shilpa admits she is known for her bad jokes, there are no dull days when Shilpa is around at work!

Sonal is the Head of Visual Merchandising at DateTheRamp.

Sonal is an old world romantic and loves everything about the Victorian Era. She believes in goodness of people and strive to ‘do good, be good’ everywhere she goes. She is a gregarious individual but at the same time she needs her space to ponder over the endless possibilities of heart and mind.

Sonal prefers mountains over beaches because they make her feel humble, almost peripheral making her forget the worries of the world.

She says she has never found an answer to the question ‘What is your passion?’ and she never wants to! This helps her learn more everyday.

SThis is Sumedha. She belongs to our Merchandising and Operations department. Probably one of the friendliest faces you’ll come across.

There are two things that make a perfect day for Sumedha. Good food and a good movie. She is never too full for a good snack. She doesn’t believe that she is a good dancer, but she can never stop herself from grooving when a peppy song starts playing!

She loves being surrounded by positive people. Her happiest days are also her busiest – Durga Puja in Kolkata!

Note- She is also a crazy Marvel fan – she can probably recite every dialogue, with punctuation.

Swana is the Head of Retail and Logistics at DTR.

With a penchant for logistics, Swana has a go-getter attitude which we all admire.Swana likes to keep fitness as a priority and enjoys blogging equally.

She claims to be an Instagram addict but one look at her profile and you’ll have an aesthetic shock coming your way!

TMostly called Tej or Tee-Jay at work, Tejender is a software engineer by education and HR by profession. Quirky is one word to describe this uber cool HR. A party animal and also a foodie, Tej is the quintessential Punjabi of DTR.
His hobbies include soccer and gaming, and Tej takes pride in being able to fluently write, read and speak English, Hindi, Punjabi and Odia.
Don’t let the man in the picture fool you. Tej is the exemplary HR who is focused on achieving his targets.

True embodiment of business in the front, party in the back!
