Guys, I hope you are enjoying as well as learning from these blogs. Today, we will learn about ‘J’. Fashion words starting from ‘J’ are joggers, jeans, jamdani, jacket, jacquard, jerkin, jumpsuit, jewel neckline and so on. We will be covering the major one which includes jacquard, jewel neck & jumpsuit. Rest of the terms I leave it for you to learn. 😉
J stands for Jacquard!
Jacquard is a device fitted to a power loom that simplifies the process of manufacturing textiles. It is a weaving technique which is used to develop brocade, damask & matelassé with complex patterns. Above is an example of a brocade saree made with the jacquard technique. If you want to look rich, royal & prestigious then you don’t even have to think twice to grab this one. Rent it here...
J stands for Jewel Neckline!
Jewel Neckline is a plain, slightly rounded neckline without a collar, as on a dress or a sweater. Pritam’s jewel neckline gown is a fusion take which will look more graceful when paired with earrings, bracelet & black pumps. Malini Ramani’s studded jewel pencil dress is perfect for an hourglass to flaunt her figure. So, pair it with simple stud earrings, a metallic clutch & metallic strap heels and you are ready for the glamorous DJ night.
J stands for Jumpsuit!
A Jumpsuit is a one-piece garment where top & trousers are attached together. Ritu Kumar’s black jumpsuit will make you look classy for any casual event. Where on the other hand we have a sophisticated white jumpsuit team it up with white heels, pearl earrings, and also a classy white-black handcuff. Lastly, Malini Ramani’s sequins jumpsuit is a right pick for a party night. Throw a jacket on, wear silver heels, smoky eyes & bright lips will make you look sexy 😉
See you guys soon with the next blog! Toodles
