‘M’ stands for model, mannequin, meter, muslin, merchandising, mandarin collar, minimalist, monochromatic, mermaid silhouette so on… And some of the designers are Manish Malhotra, Marc Jacobs, Michale Kors, Masaba Gupta etc. We will be learning about the mandarin collar, monochromatic & mermaid silhouette.
M stands for Mandarin Collar!
Mandarin collar is a small, close fitted, standup collar. Chinese collar is another name for it. It is also quite similar to the Nehru collar (often found in modern Indian men’s clothing). Above are three examples of Mandarine collar of all different ranges from low to high. Click on the pictures to see the full image and rent it right away!
M stands for Mermaid Silhouette!
Mermaid dress is a style of evening gown that fits closely to the body through the torso and hips, then “fishtails” out in a flare to the floor. (This is why it’s also known as a fishtail dress.) Above are three variations of mermaid dresses/gowns. All are perfect for red carpet event. Click on the pic and explore more designer pieces. 😉
M stands for Monochromatic Color!
The monochromatic color scheme means containing or using only one color’s shade & tints(Lighter and darker shades of a single color). There are different types of color schemes. I will make a separate blog on it.  The 1st example shows single color head to toe. 2nd shows two shades of the same color head to toe & lastly the red one has more than 2 shades of red color. These all fall under the monochromatic color scheme and whenever you wear this scheme it makes you look taller. 😉 so grab these examples or create your own monochromatic scheme and look classy.
See you soon with the next blog. Toodles 😉 <3
